Descriptive statistics
Descriptive statistics is the mathematical technique that obtains, organizes, presents and describes a set of data in order to facilitate its use, generally with the support of tables, numerical measures or graphs. These techniques are used in the research process, at the stage in which the researcher needs to process and analyze the data collected in said study.
In today's class an application called RStudio was downloaded, which the teacher told us how it worked and the steps to follow.
Half
It is the value with a tendency to repeat itself several times, the mean is the q value.
Median
The values always tend to be odd to find the center, but if they are even, the two center values are added and divided.
Length
Length is a definable metric concept for geometric entities over which a distance has been defined. More specifically, given a segment, a curve or a thin line, its length can be defined from the notion of distance.
Personal conclusions
At the end we learned how to use the RStudio application, as well as how to make a histogram, its lengths, dimension, variance, among others.
