What is a survey?
Most used technique that allows obtaining information from almost any type of population. Great capacity to standardize data, which llows its computerized tratment and statistical analysis.
Statiscal population: A statiscal population is the total if individuals or group of them that present or could present the characteristic trait that is desired to study.
Statistic sample: As a representative subgroup or subseet of the population, drawn selected by some sampling method, the sample is always a part of the population.
Statistical methodology: Methodology and statistics are two important branches of knowledge to carry out a scientific study. The methodology allows to design the study with a support in its characteristics and importance; establishes which are the variables that influence the study, the cotrol techniques, types and approaches of the investigation. Statistics is also important in the behavior of the individual, it allows organizing, summarizing, collecting, analyzing and representing data and the preparation of valid conclusions, it also provides logical decisions based on statistical analysis.
Personal Conclusions
We saw the steps to prepare a survey and he also explained the methodology for tourism, he told us step by step to choose a topic and how to prepare a survey, with the appropriate questions. Thanks the teacher's explanation was very helpful to us. That there were things we did not know.
