Regressions

In statistics, regression analysis is a statistical process for estimating relationships between variables. It includes many techniques for the modeling and analysis of various variables, when the focus is on the relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables.

So a regression is a notion that refers to the act of going back or going back. Originating in the Latin word regressio, the term has different uses according to the context. According to psychology, regression is a regression to a previous stage or level of development.

Regression analysis

Fit a line to a straight line in this dot plot mess, X is called the independent or regressive or predictive variable, E and is the dependent or response variable.

In statistics, the analysis of variance is a collection of statistical models and their associated procedures, in which the variance is divided into certain components due to different explanatory variables.
